Each half-term, the Directors of Year Groups and their staff identify one boy and one girl from their year group to be invited to have tea and biscuits with Mrs Hales, Headteacher. This is in recognition of their outstanding contribution to school life and the positive character attributes they have shown during the half-term.

The pupils who enjoyed this special privilege on Friday 31st March 2023 were: Year 5 – Aisla and Kade, Year 6 – Elliot and Lacie-Mae, Year 7 – Wissem and Year 8 – Archie and Ruby.

Celebrate reading at our Book Fair!

We are delighted to announce that we will be holding a Book Fair in school after half term!

The Book Fair will be arriving in school soon, with hundreds of new children’s books to browse and buy. There are over 200 titles for your child to choose from, and with prices starting from only £2.99, there’s sure to be a book for everyone.

Travelling Books will be in school from MONDAY 12TH JUNE - THURSDAY 15TH JUNE.

During this time, your child will have the opportunity to peruse and buy the books on offer: during breaktime, lunchtime and at a set time with their English class. 

There are several ways you can pay for the books chosen by your child, but it is our preference that you pay online through the Travelling Books website; the link for which is below.  Online payments will be accepted from Friday 26th May:

Pupils can bring a small amount of cash into school to purchase books or stationery items that will also be on sale.
